It opens a connection between a computer and an Android device so that you can install apps, copy files, run shell commands and read system logs without touching the screen.

How ADB works

ADB has three parts: a client you type commands into, a server that runs on your computer, and a background service (the daemon) on the device. The server keeps track of connected devices and passes your commands to the right one, over USB or the network.

What people use it for

Installing and removing apps (
adb install
,
adb uninstall
).

Copying files to and from the device.

Running shell commands and reading logs while debugging an app.

Driving a device from scripts as part of testing or automation.

ADB and cloud phones

Cloud phones are Android devices too, so many of them can accept ADB connections. That lets developers use the same tools and scripts they use on a physical phone. Only enable ADB access when you need it and keep the connection details private.

Related terms

Điện thoại đám mây

APK (Android Package Kit)

RPA (robotic process automation)

A command-line tool that lets a computer talk to an Android device to install apps, run commands and read logs.

A command-line tool that lets a computer talk to an Android device to install apps, run commands and read logs.
post-430","gl_glossary","type-gl_glossary","status-publish","hentry
["GET
