Three kinds of tools come up again and again: Android emulators, multi-account (antidetect) browsers and cloud phones. They solve overlapping problems in different ways, so the right choice depends on where your accounts live.

Android emulators

An emulator runs a virtual Android device on your own computer. It is free or cheap, quick to try and fine for testing an app or using a single account on a bigger screen.

Good for: app testing, occasional use, one or two accounts.

Watch out for: every instance uses your computer’s CPU and memory, so a handful of them slows the machine down. They also stop when your computer sleeps, and some apps behave differently on emulated hardware.

Multi-account browsers

A multi-account browser keeps a separate browser profile for each account, each with its own cookies, storage and proxy. It is the natural choice when your accounts are used on the web: ad dashboards, marketplaces, web versions of social networks.

Good for: web-first platforms and dashboards, large numbers of light profiles.

Watch out for: apps that are mobile-first. Several social networks offer features in the app that the website lacks, and some actions are simply easier on a phone.

Điện thoại đám mây

A cloud phone is an Android phone that runs in a data centre. You open it from your browser or desktop app, install apps from the store, and it keeps running when you close the window. Each phone has its own device details, apps, storage and proxy.

Good for: mobile-first platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, teams that share work across locations, and work that should keep running when your laptop is closed.

Watch out for: a cloud phone is a paid resource that runs per profile, so plan how many you actually need.

How to choose

Start from where the work happens, not from the tool:

Most of your work is in mobile apps: use cloud phones.

Most of your work is in web dashboards: use a multi-account browser.

You just need to test an app now and then: an emulator is enough.

Many teams end up with a mix: phones for the app-based networks and browser profiles for ad managers and stores. Keeping both in one workspace, with the same groups, tags and permissions, saves switching between tools. You can read more about cloud phones and the multi-account browser.

Whatever you choose, the rules of each platform still apply. Tools keep accounts technically separate; they do not make an account compliant.

Three common ways to run several accounts from one computer, what each one is good at, and how to choose between them.

Three common ways to run several accounts from one computer, what each one is good at, and how to choose between them.

11
15,14
post-421","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog","tag-cloud-phone","tag-multiple-account-management
["GET
