An antidetect browser, also called a multi-account browser, is a web browser built to run many isolated profiles side by side. Each profile has its own cookies, local storage, proxy and browser details, so websites see each profile as a separate visitor.
How it differs from normal browser profiles
Ordinary browser profiles separate cookies but still share the same browser and device details and the same network. An antidetect browser also gives each profile its own set of browser properties (such as screen size, fonts and time zone) and its own proxy.
Typical uses
- Managing several ad accounts or online stores.
- Keeping client accounts apart in an agency.
- Testing how a website looks to visitors from different regions.
Browser or cloud phone?
Browsers suit web-first platforms. For platforms that work best in their mobile apps, a cloud phone is usually the better fit. Whichever tool you use, each platform’s own rules on multiple accounts still apply.
